Stuffed Chicken fried balls


1kg minced chicken
1 egg
50gms cornflour
1 bunch of spinach
Chopped walnut and almonds
3tbsp chopped green chilly
1 green spring onion chopped
Salt to taste


  • Add the cleaned spinach in boiling for around 4-5 minutes.
  • Switch off the gas and strain the water. Roughly chop the spinach.
  • Mix it together with chopped walnuts, almonds, green chilly, spring onion, salt and half of the corn flour.
  • Add 1 beaten egg to the chicken mince.
  • Now make small balls of the chicken and make a small hole.
  • Stuff the chicken balls with the spinach mixture.
  • Roll it on the remaining cornflour and set aside.
  • If you want to make it easy you can just mix the whole together including the chicken mince and make small balls and roll it on the cornflour.
  • Heat enough oil in a pan. Once the oil is smoking hot, turn the gas to medium low heat. Now add the chicken balls one by one. Once it is browned lightly on one side. Turn it on the other side. Let it brown evenly on all sides. Make sure the gas is on low heat or else chicken will not be evenly cooked.
  • Remove it from the gas. Place it in a paper towel and remove the excess oil.
  • Serve it hot with sweet and sour sauce or with hot chilly sauce.

Tips: You can use the strained spinach water to knead the chappati dough. It has got nutritional values.
