Coconut Ladoo

Nariyal ka Ladoo (Coconut Ladoo)

Coconut ladoo is normally made during festivals or if you have any special occasions at your place. These ladoos are very easy to make and you don’t have to search for an occasion to have these. You can either use fresh coconut or dry coconut powder to make these ladoos. I have used dry coconut. Watch out the recipe with fresh coconut which will be published soon!!

1 cup dessicated coconut (dry coconut)
10-15 tbsp of condensed milk (I have used milkmaid)
2-3 tbsp of mixed dried fruits
1/2 tbsp of ghee
1 cardamom powdered


  • Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Add the dry fruits and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add the dessicated coconut and fry it lightly for around 3-4 minutes. Keep aside some coconut for rolling.
  • Add the condensed milk and the powdered cardamom and mix well.
  • Once the mixture turns thick and starts to roll into a ball, switch off the gas.
  • Once the mixture cools down, take a lemon size ball and roll into a ladoo shape. Once it takes the shape roll it into the dessicated coconut once again.
  • Transfer it to an airtight container. Refrigerate it after 4 days.
