How to keep Coriander leaves fresh for many days

  • Coriander leaves will stay fresh if you store them in an airtight container or wrap in banana leaf and store it in the fridge.
  • One more Coriander leaves tip is, if you wash and dry coriander leaves in the sun for two or three days and when completely dry, grind them to a fine powder. Use the powder as a garnish.
  • No fridge!!! Place coriander leaves and coconut pieces in a glass of water. Just keep changing the water daily.
  • Another tip is to cut the thread or rubber band which is tied to the coriander bunch, spread them into a paper towel or a newspaper and let the moisture dry out. Now roll the paper towel /newspaper along with the coriander leaves. Place it in a plastic cover and keep it in the fridge. It will last for at least 10-12 days.
  • Coriander leaves will also stay fresh if you keep it in a place it in a glass of water and cover it lightly on the head with a plastic cover. Don’t forget to change the water daily.
